I’ve been distracted by setting up The Sanctum’s Facebook page, working on this blog and trying to master Twitter the last few days, that the actual writing of book two has taken a backseat of sorts. The Facebook page and blog are going all right, I think, but the Twitter thing…hmmm.
But we can discuss that another time because my total suck-assness with it is kind of depressing.
Anyway, although I’ve been working on other stuff, Dev and Wyatt are still at the forefront of my mind. I’ve written two chapters already, have the overall arc of the book plotted, quite a lot of it outlined (which is funny, because my outline will be decimated by the time book two is complete), have done a fair amount of research on various philosophies of the warrior mindset and am totally psyched to delve deeper into Darvin.
For those of you who’ve snagged a copy of my book one manuscript, you’ve met my eternally bored vampire, Darvin. He’s one hundred and ten, forever going on seventeen. He was a bored teenager and is a rather bored vamp. And for me, he just kind of brings the joy.
He’ll be front and center tomorrow when I turn to chapter three.
And on that note, goodnight good people.
